He later served as a corrections dentist and mobile geriatric dentist in Western Colorado, bringing care directly to patients who couldn’t easily reach a clinic. That experience shaped a clinical philosophy centered on prevention: Dr. Rhoads is passionate about noninvasive, preventative care, and works to build the trust and comfort needed to complete treatment without sedation whenever it’s appropriate for the patient. When more support is needed, his in-house general anesthesia capability ensures comprehensive care is still possible — but the goal always starts with the least invasive path forward.
