We have several locations throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington so you can choose the office that’s most convenient for you. All of our Roots Dental locations offer the same friendly care, flexible hours, and full range of services.

 

How quickly can I get a dental appointment?

Roots Dental offers flexible appointment times, including early morning and evening slots, to accommodate busy schedules. We strive to see patients promptly, often on the same day for emergencies.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Just bring a photo ID, your insurance card (if you have one), and any questions you have about your smile. If you’ve recently had x-rays taken elsewhere, feel free to send them our way. Otherwise, we’ve got everything covered!

Yes, Roots Dental offers three levels of sedation to accommodate patient needs:
  • Nitrous Oxide Sedation: A mild, odorless gas inhaled through a nose mask, with effects wearing off shortly after administration.
  • Oral Conscious Sedation: Involves taking medication to help patients relax; they remain conscious but may not remember much of the procedure.
  • IV Sedation: Administered intravenously, providing the deepest level of sedation.

Will my dental procedure hurt?

Roots Dental prioritizes patient comfort by using high-strength topical gels and the latest anesthetics. We ensure patients are fully numb before starting any procedure and offer sedation options for those with anxiety or difficulty getting numb.

At what age should my child first visit the dentist?

We recommend scheduling your child’s first dental visit by their first birthday or when their first tooth appears. Early visits help establish good oral hygiene habits and allow us to monitor their dental development.
