Get a Flawless Smile with Dental Veneers in Vancouver, OR
Thinking about enhancing your smile with cosmetic dentistry? At Roots Dental in Vancouver, OR, dental veneers are one of the most popular options for patients seeking dramatic, movie-star results.
Porcelain veneers can correct multiple cosmetic concerns in a single treatment — including chips, gaps, discoloration, and uneven teeth. Our skilled cosmetic dentist, Dr. Seth Huish, will take time to understand your smile goals and walk you through your personalized treatment options, ensuring you achieve the confident, beautiful smile you deserve.
Benefits of Dental Veneers
Dental veneers improve the color, shape, length, and uniformity of the teeth. Whether you have a single out-of-place tooth or you want all of your front teeth to have veneers, you can enjoy ideal results in just a few dental appointments.

Planning Veneer Treatment with Smile Design
As with all restorative dentistry, starting with a healthy mouth is essential. Think of it as an artist painting on a fresh, white canvas. Dr. Huish will rule out any underlying oral conditions such as dental decay and periodontal disease before getting started.
- Consultation to discuss your ideal smile
- Evaluation of your bite and teeth
- X-rays and impressions of the teeth
- Smile design using a cosmetic wax-up and try-in
Determining the perfect length and shape of the teeth is essential not only for a beautiful result but also to ensure that your teeth feel comfortable and function in harmony.
Because your smile is unique to you, your opinions will play a vital role in the shade and color of your veneers. Dr. Huish will show you pictures and discuss your ideal smile with you so that your new smile is exactly how you envisioned it.
Your Veneer Procedure
Because we will polish away a small amount of your natural tooth structure, choosing veneers is a lifelong commitment. That being said, our patients who have had veneers tell us they wish they had done it sooner because they love their results.
We will place temporary veneers on the teeth while our trusted local dental lab creates your final porcelain veneers. Once we receive them from the lab, Dr. Huish will permanently bond them to your teeth and make any minute adjustments for a good fit.
Caring for Your Veneers
Porcelain is durable, but not indestructible. Avoid chewing ice or hard candy, and if you grind your teeth at night, we will design a custom nightguard to protect your investment.
Good oral hygiene at home and regular dental check-ups and cleanings will prolong the life of your veneers.

Professional teeth whitening is far superior when performed by a trusted dentist, like Dr. Seth Huish. Not only can he recommend the proper whitening system, but he will also monitor your progress and ensure that you are healthy enough for teeth whitening.
Custom teeth whitening trays to use at home keep the gel in place, maximizing your results and preventing seepage onto the delicate gum tissue, which leads to sensitivity. After about two weeks of at-home teeth whitening, you can expect a dramatic improvement of 3 to 8 shades depending on the level of staining on your teeth.
