Airway Dentistry for Kids and Adults

Breathe Better.
Sleep Better.

Roots Dental takes an airway-first approach, looking at how the mouth, jaws, tongue, and facial structure affect breathing, sleep, and overall health.

Precision Care for Every Breath

Airway dentistry looks beyond teeth and gums. We evaluate airway size, tongue posture, jaw development, breathing patterns, and sleep quality because they all shape how you feel every day.

Pediatric Airway

Early evaluation for mouth breathing, snoring, crowded teeth, and jaw development concerns in children.

Adult Airway

Airway Clear Aligner Therapy helps increase tongue space, broaden the smile, and improve the profile. It may also help adults with teeth grinding, snoring, sleep-disordered breathing, fatigue, and TMD.

Diagnostics & Collaboration

Airway questionnaires, CBCT imaging, bite analysis, and coordinated care with sleep physicians and ENTs when needed.

Why Airway?

When breathing is disrupted, it can show up as snoring, fatigue, teeth grinding, TMJ discomfort, or poor facial development in kids.
Conventional dentistry focuses on teeth and gums, but airway dentistry recognizes that oral health is tied to the way you breathe. Good care looks at the whole picture: sleep, jaw growth, tongue posture, and long-term wellness.

Signs & Symptoms

Airway issues can look different in kids and adults, but they often show up as sleep problems, mouth breathing, or clues that the jaw and airway are not working together well.
